This is a summary of reports from the Northern California 
BirdBox, sponsored by the Golden Gate Audubon Society, compiled
27 June 2010 at 06:50 a.m.

Highlights: SANDHILL CRANE, BRANT, BALD EAGLE, BLACK TERN, 
COMMON NIGHHAWK, WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKER, CORDILLERAN FLYCATCHER, 
PLUMBEOUS VIREO, SCRUB JAY (woodhousii), PINYON JAY, 
TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE, SAGE THARSHER, LAZULI BUNTING, INDIGO BUNTING, 
BLACKTHROATED SPARROW, COMMON GRACKLE, YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD.

Marin Co.

On Jun 18, a male COMMON GRACKLE was seen twice at a feeder in Muir Beach.

Mono Co.
--------
On Jun 16, at Lower Rock Creek Road, west on Hwy 395, 3 miles north of 
Paradise, (15) LAZULI BUTNING, (1) male INDIGO BUNTING, (2) PINYON JAYS,
(1) TOWNSEND'S SOLATIRE, and a SCRUB JAY of interior type woodhousii were
found. At the Owens River Gorge, below Crowley Lake Dam, a pair of 
COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRDS were seen. On Jun 17, at Fish Slough Ecological 
Preserve, in SE Mono county, a WILLOW FLYCATCHER and 
(3) BLACK-THROATED SPARROW were seen. At the Glass Creek Trailhead, 
a male WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKER was found. On Jun 17, a BRANT was
200 yards south of the Mono Lake County Park, seen from the observation
platform. On Jun 20, at Lundy Canyon, between the resort and the first
beaver pond (1 mile up the road), there were (3) CORDILLERAN FLYCATCHER.
On Jun 21-22, at the south end of Bridgeport Reservoir from a pull-out on
Hwy 182, a pair of SANDHILL CRANE, (1) BLACK TERN, (150) COMMON NIGHHAWKS,
(3) BALD EAGLE, and (200+) YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were seen. 
Further along Hwy 182, at the west end of Bridgeport Reservoir Dam, a
SAGE THRASHER was seen. And a couple PINYON JAYS and PLUMBEOUS VIREO

San Mateo Co.

On Jun 21-26, (2) GRAY CATBIRD was seen along the Old Guadalupe Trail at 
San Bruno Mountain Park. From the Crocker Ave Entrance, take the main
trail through the eucalyptus grove. The first GRAY CATBIRD has been seen
in the bushes on both sides of the trail near the unmarked mile marker 
post. The second catbird was seen further along the trail, through the next
clump of eucalyptus trees. This bird was seen on just beyond these 
eucalyptus trees. Both birds are calling and singing.
