On 7/24 in North Park, 1 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER, 3 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, 5
SPOTTED SANDPIPERS, 11 KILLDEER, 1 GREEN HERON (MV).


BEAVER COUNTY:

On 7/26 at Big Beaver Wetlands, 2 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, 1 SPOTTED SANDPIPER, 3
GREEN HERONS, 13 WOOD DUCKS (MV).

In East Rochester and Monaca on 7/27, PEREGRINE FALCONS (SGr).

On 7/27 in Potter Township and Midland, OSPREYS (SGr).


BUTLER COUNTY:

On 7/26 along the Butler Freeport Bike Trail between Sarver and Cabot,
YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, ACADIAN FLYCATCHERS, 1 singing LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH (MF).

On 7/26 from Branchton to New Hope, sightings included BLUE-WINGED TEAL, 6 GREEN
 HERONS, BALD EAGLE, RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, VIRGINIA RAIL, BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO,
12+ PURPLE MARTINS, ORCHARD ORIOLE (JG and OM).

At Wolf Creek Narrows on 7/28, sightings included 1 singing WINTER WREN, EASTERN
 WOOD-PEWEE, YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, ACADIAN FLYCATCHER, SANDPIPER SP. (RN with
Melissa Little).


CLARION COUNTY:

Near Sligo on 7/26, GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS, CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS, HENSLOW'S
SPARROWS, EASTERN MEADOWLARKS (DWilb).


CRAWFORD COUNTY:

In Pymatuning on 7/27, sightings included 3 BONAPARTE'S GULLS, CLIFF SWALLOWS,
BARN SWALLOWS, BANK SWALLOWS, TREE SWALLOWS, PURPLE MARTINS, 15 DOUBLE-CRESTED
CORMORANTS, OSPREYS (SK).


INDIANA COUNTY:

On 7/24 and 7/26 at Yellow Creek State Park, 2 LITTLE BLUE HERONS remain
present; also on 7/24, 1 CASPIAN TERN, 3 LEAST SANDPIPERS, 1 PECTORAL SANDPIPER
(reported to MHi by Lee Carnahan); also on 7/26, SOLITARY SANDPIPER, PIED-BILLED
 GREBE, WOOD DUCKS, WILLOW FLYCATCHER (SGo).


LAWRENCE COUNTY:

On 7/26 in New Beaver at the Wampum-New Galilee Road marsh, 1 SORA, 7 COMMON
MOORHENS, 29 WOOD DUCKS, 14 GREEN HERONS (MV).

In Plain Grove on 7/26, 1 SOLITARY SANDPIPER at a farm pond on Vosler Road, 18
HORNED LARKS along Lake Road, 6 SANDHILL CRANES off Bonanni Road, 1 SEMIPALMATED
 PLOVER and and 6 LEAST SANDPIPERS along Mason Road, and an adult BALD EAGLE at
the Golf Course Road marsh (MV and Becky Smith).


MERCER COUNTY:

On 7/27 at Shenango Lake, OSPREYS (SGr).

At the Lake Wilhelm marina on 7/27, 1 BONAPARTE'S GULL (SK).


WESTMORELAND COUNTY:

Along Palko Road/Sportman Road earlier this month, 4-5 SHORT-EARED OWLS
(reported to TV).
