ALLEGHENY COUNTY:

On 2/17 at the Point in Pittsburgh, sightings included 4 GREAT BLACK-
BACKED GULLS, 1 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, ~400 HERRING GULLS; on 
2/19, 1 first-cycle THAYER'S/ICELAND TYPE GULL, 1 adult LESSER BLACK-
BACKED GULL (GM); on 2/21, 1 first-cycle THAYER'S/ICELAND TYPE GULL, 2 
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS (DY).

On 2/20 along the Allegheny River between Oakmont and Lock and Dam #3, 
sightings included 6 hen COMMON GOLDENEYES, 4 BUFFLEHEADS (AH with Pat 
McShea); on 2/21 at Lock and Dam #3, 1 COMMON GOLDENEYE, 2 NORTHERN 
PINTAILS (DY).

In Etna on 2/21, 2 COMMON GOLDENEYES (DY).

At Dashield's Dam on 2/21, 1 hen AMERICAN BLACK DUCK (MVas).

On 2/21 at Neville Island, 1 hen CANVASBACK (MVas).

At Emsworth Dam on 2/21, sightings included 2 COMMON GOLDENEYES, 14 
BUFFLEHEADS (MVas).


ARMSTRONG COUNTY:

At Crooked Creek State Park on 2/20, 1 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, 1 COMMON RAVEN, 
and others (MVan).

On 2/21 along the river from Rosston to Tarrtown, 1 COMMON GOLDENEYE, 2 
GADWALLS, 4 BUFFLEHEADS, 1 COMMON LOON, and others (MH).


BEAVER COUNTY:

In Rochester on 2/17 and 2/19, sightings included 1 PEREGRINE FALCON; on 
2/18, 2/19, and 2/21, 1 WHITE-WINGED SCOTER; also on 2/21, 1 AMERICAN 
BLACK DUCK X MALLARD hybrid, 1 GREEN-WINGED TEAL X MALLARD hybrid (MVas).


CRAWFORD COUNTY:

Daily this week from 2/16 to 2/21 in Springboro, 1 SNOWY OWL continued its 
presence (CN).


ERIE COUNTY:

On 2/15 at Roderick Wildlife Reserve (State Gamelands #314), 2 NORTHERN 
SHRIKES (JM).

At Lakeview Landfill on 2/16, 1 probable fourth-cycle GREAT BLACK-BACKED 
GULL X HERRING GULL hybrid (JM).

In Erie on 2/19, 1 NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD (locally uncommon/rare) (CK).

On 2/20 and 2/21 at Presque Isle State Park, 1 adult male HARLEQUIN DUCK 
(reported to DW by MVas, JM, SS with Don Dixon), COMMON GOLDENEYES, 2 hen 
WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS (JM), CANVASBACKS, REDHEADS, HORNED GREBE, RUDDY DUCK 
(MVas); on 2/22, 1 HARLEQUIN DUCK continued (DW, CN), and 1 GLAUCOUS GULL 
was seen flying over the bay (CN).

On 2/22 and 2/23 near Edinboro, 1 FOX SPARROW (reported to JM by Gail 
Neelys).


INDIANA COUNTY:

On 2/17 and 2/18 in Clarksburg, 1 MERLIN (MC).


LAWRENCE COUNTY:

On 2/18 in the Volant Strips area, sightings included 1 LAPLAND LONGSPUR, 
6 SNOW BUNTINGS, 10 HORNED LARKS (CH).

On 2/18 in the Pulaski/New Wilmington area, 1 NORTHERN HARRIER, 1 WILSON'S 
SNIPE, 53 HORNED LARKS (CH).

In the Plain Grove area on 2/20, 1 SAVANNAH SPARROW was seen with ~30 
AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS; also 12 SANDHILL CRANES, 30 SNOW BUNTINGS, HORNED 
LARKS (MVas); on 2/22, 1 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, 2 AMERICAN PIPITS, 1 RED-
HEADED WOODPECKER, 35+ flyover SNOW BUNTINGS, 1 flyover LAPLAND LONGSPUR, 
4 SANDHILL CRANES, 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE (DW with Shannon Thompson).


WASHINGTON COUNTY:

On 2/19 at the Hahn Road AMD Pond in North Strabane Township, 1 REDHEAD, 1 
RUDDY DUCK (MVas).
